When I applied to law school, my intent was always to become a family law lawyer, as well as a family law mediator. I wanted to be able to provide my clients with various options to resolve their family law issues. I know that sometimes litigation simply cannot be avoided; but I strongly believe that in most cases, parties to a separation should be able to resolve their family law issues together on their own terms, rather than relying on a third party (i.e. a Judge) to resolve the issues for them.
As a Mediator, I assist in renegotiating your family relationship – because that’s what a separation/divorce does. After a separation/divorce, you will need to redefine your relationship with your former partner in a positive way, in order to move forward in the best way possible towards a new future, and for the future of your child(ren). I will help you with this.
Whether it be child-related and/or financial issues, in Mediation, I use my legal experience, family law expertise, creative thinking, and compassion to help you reach fair solutions that satisfy the interests of both parties, and your child(ren).
